William Darrell Fisher
William Darrell Fisher, 78, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest at 12:10 PM, March 30, 2011 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX after an illness. William Darrell Fisher was born June 28, 1932 in Jasper County, MO the son of William Howard and Ursula Mary (Watson) Fisher. Darrell owned and operated Fisher’s Lumber Company south of Seneca for 38 years. Darrell was a minister at the Swars Prairie Church of Christ from 1975 - 2011. He married Barbara Inez Golden October 22, 1950 and she survives. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed riding his mule. Additional survivors include his children, Darrell Lee Fisher, Grove, Diana Lynn Nesvold, Seneca, Eddie Wayne Fisher, Seneca, Barbara Sue Noah, Seneca and Neil Eugene Fisher, Neosho; one sister, Mary Ann Bunch, Joplin; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Swars Prairie Church of Christ Church, South of Seneca with Gayle West officiating. Burial will be in the Swars Prairie Church of Christ Cemetery with Brandon Neal, Joe Nesvold, Bo Noah, Daniel Noah, Chris Cornell, Jessie Fisher, Forest Fisher and Cody Crocker serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on the family at the family home south of Seneca.
