Walter Smith

Walter S. Smith III,76, Joplin, MO, passed away January 3, 2014 at his home in Joplin after an illness.   Walter S. Smith III was born June 11, 1937 in Miami, OK the son of Walter Smith Jr. and Pauline (Stoner) Smith.  Walter worked as a Supervisor for H Kock & Sons in Anaheim, CA until retiring. Walter Smith married Dorothy Deane and she survives. Additional survivors include one son Walter Smith IV, Sonoma, CA; one grandson Walter Smith V, Sonoma, CA and one great-granddaughter Lilliana Smith.  The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca and private burial will be held at the GAR Cemetery in Miami, OK at a later date.
