Walter L. Bluejacket
Walter L. Bluejacket, 69, Miami, OK, passed into eternal rest October 12, 2014, at his home in rural Miami after an illness. Walter Lloyd Bluejacket was born September 4, 1945 in Miami, OK the son of Leonard and Reba (Campbell) Bluejacket. Walter worked for the former BF Goodrich plant in Miami until retiring. He then owned and operated Kelly's Cafe' and Walt's Tire in Wyandotte. Walt was a member of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was of the Assembly of God faith. Walter L. Bluejacket married Barbara Pogue December 10, 1992 in Miami, OK and she survives. Additional survivors include; three sons, Brian Shadwick, St. Louis, MO, Chester Shadwick, State of OK and Thomas Shadwick, Wyandotte, OK; one daughter, Lisa Marshall, Seneca; One brother, Larry Bluejacket, North Port, AL; one sister, Brenda Himes, Wyandotte; A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Walter was preceded in death by his mother and father, one daughter, Susanna Longan and one grandson Curtis Marshall. Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Chapel. Burial will be in the Wyandotte Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7pm, Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the funeral home.
