Vera M Rinehart age 86 passed into eternal rest November 3, 2024 at Seneca House Nursing Home after a long illness.
Vera May Rinehart was born March 2, 1938 in Howell County, MO the daughter of Everett and Beulah (Denny) Hall. Vera moved to the area at a young age. She was a faithful lifetime member of the Swars Prairie United Methodist Church. Vera enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, canning, cake decorating (especially wedding cakes), sewing, taking pictures and loved the country life helping her husband Joe on the family dairy farm. She especially enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren. Vera was a co-owner of the former Seneca News Dispatch for 18 years where she wrote a weekly column titled, "Just This and That."
Vera May Hall married Joseph Albert Rinehart October 12, 1957 in Seneca, MO and he preceded her in death January 12, 2022. Also preceding her in death were her 6 brothers, Milfred Hall, Bud Hall, Glen Hall, Joe Hall, Rex Hall and Harvey Hall.
Survivors include her daughter Diane Friend and husband Rick, Seneca; one son, Danny Rinehart and wife Verla, Seneca; grandchildren, Cassie Britt, Corie Altman, Jessica Oakley, Aaron Edens, Jessica Edens and Chelsey McKeehan and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 7 pm Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home with Bob Hampton officiating. A private burial will follow at Thompson Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Britt, Cody Altman, Gavin Oakley, Gabe Oakley, Aaron Edens and Wayne Vallee.
