Velva Jean Kelley, 74, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest March 9, 2024 at her home in Seneca surrounded by her family.
Velva Jean Captain was born June 12, 1949 in Tuba City, AZ the twin daughter of Charles Thomas and Sarah Bell (Thornbrough) Captain. Velva graduate from Wyandotte High School in 1967. She loved to travel, sewing, going to flea markets and was an Amazing Cook. Velva was a proud member of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma and the Southeast Baptist Church in Commerce, OK.
Velva was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Sarah Captain, her twin sister Belva Jane Triplett, brother Charles Danny Captain and two husbands, Gary Lee Kelley and Ensor Leon Littleton.
Survivors include one son, Johnathan Ward Ervin and wife Karen Sue, Neosho, MO; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of niece, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation for Velva will be held from 6 to 7pm, Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
Graveside services will be held at 10am, Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the Ottawa Indian Cemetery, Miami, OK with Jeremie Bridges officiating.
