Troy Barton

Troy G. Barton, 54, Anderson, MO, passed away on March 20, 2023, in Joplin Missouri after a short illness.

Troy G. Barton was born August 20, 1968, in Gravette, Arkansas the son of Bill Barton and Judy (Dale) Barton. Troy worked all his life as a heavy equipment operator and was revered as one of the best. Troy also worked at Hodson Turkey Company in Anderson Mo. for over 18 years. Troy was always working multiple jobs and didn't like to set idle for very long when there was work to be done. Troy loved to fish especially with his brothers every opportunity possible. Some of the most memorable times Troy spoke of were spending time with his brothers both working and enjoying life together.

Troy and Tammy spent over twenty years together building a life and making memories that would last a lifetime. They enjoyed being together as they made a house their home and she survives. Troy was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jeff Barton and sister Tammy Barton.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Jessi Barton, Vinita, OK; Kayla Cole and Husband Blake, Afton, OK; and Chasity Monroe, Fort Smith, AR; 2 brothers, Todd Barton, and Chris Barton, both of Anderson, MO; and best friend, Kevin Frazier, Anderson, MO; and a host of family and friends.

The family will be holding a private memorial tribute for Troy at a later date.

The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
