Terry E. Brownen, 71, Seneca, MO, passed away May 18, 2024 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Wyandotte, OK.
Terry Eldon Brownen was born July 23, 1952 in Joplin, MO the son of C.R. and Pauline (Golden) Brownen. Terry was a 1970 graduate of Seneca High School and had a Bachelor’s Degree from Missouri Southern State University. He was a lifelong area resident. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Terry formerly owned and operated N.E.O Feeds in Miami, OK for 38 years. He was devoted to working at the feed store and enjoyed visiting with his customers and friends. Terry grew up playing baseball and singing with his cousins. His hobbies were playing cards, fantasy football, APBA fantasy baseball, golfing, and listening to Elvis. He was a big Arizona Cardinals football and St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. The last week of his life, Terry’s son Jordan and daughter Tiana took him on a belated Christmas road trip where he got to enjoy spending time with his whole family. This trip together created everlasting memories for the family and was a great blessing. “God had a plan.”
Terry Eldon Brownen married Nancy DeGraw on May 23, 1981 in Cave Springs Baptist Church, Neosho, MO, and she survives.
Additional survivors include one son, Jordan Brownen, Fairland, OK; one daughter, Tiana Brownen, Indianola, IA; one sister, Cheryl Lankford and husband, Dennis, of Seneca, MO; one aunt, Loretta Turley, Seneca, MO; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-7pm, May 24, 2024 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10am, May 25, 2024 at the Seneca First Baptist Church with Pastor Rod Van Gorkom and Scotty Ray Yeakey officiating. A private internment of the cremains will be held at a later date at the Swars Prairie Church of Christ Cemetery.
