Susan Friend

Susan Friend, age 63, peacefully passed away following a brave and swift battle with cancer, reuniting with her beloved husband, Randy Friend, who predeceased her in 2021.

Born on February 25, 1961, in Raymore, Missouri, Susan married Randy on June 14, 1976, in Seneca, Missouri. A lifelong resident of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, she devoted her career to serving as the Kitchen Manager at Bearskin Dinner and was an active member of Eastside Assembly of God.

Susan's laughter, hard work, and feisty spirit touched everyone she met, leaving an enduring impact on all who knew her. Her vibrant presence illuminated the lives of those around her, and her absence will be deeply felt by her family and friends.

Susan is survived by her loving daughter, Jody Griner, and son-in-law, TJ Griner. She is also mourned by her son, David Friend, and daughter-in-law, Kristin Friend. Her cherished grandchildren-Samantha Griner, Kiley Griner, Peyton Griner, Randy James Griner, Kdyn Bailey, Bow Bailey, and Abygal Friend-will carry on her rich legacy.

The family is forever grateful for the love, laughter, and treasured memories shared during Susan's remarkable life. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family will be holding a memorial service on August 31st, 2024 at 1:00pm at the residence of 66899 E. 160 Road in Wyandotte Oklahoma.
