Shirley McMurry

Shirley Anne McMurry, 84, Carl Junction, MO, passed away February 19, 2024 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin after an illness.

Shirley Anne Ingle was born December 6, 1939 in Broken Arrow, OK the daughter of Cecil and Wilrose Ingle. Shirley was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed reading, growing things, playing bingo and she loved her "facebook fans" and her cats.

Survivors include three children, Keith Lawson and wife Darlene, Okeechobee, FL, Kelli Brust and husband Jerry, Joplin, MO and Kirk Lawson and wife Mary Kay, Galena, KS; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.

Shirley married Claude "Mac" McMurry December 1, 1993 and he preceded her in death November 3, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Wilrose (Gibson) Ingle; one brother William Robert Ingle.

The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at the Seneca Cemetery, 2:00pm, Sunday, February 25, 2024.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army or a Church of donors choice.
