Sharon Thompson

Sharon Kay Thompson, 76, Joplin, MO passed away April 20, 2023 after an illness.

Sharon Kay Duncan was born September 3, 1946 in Goodman, MO. Sharon graduated from from Neosho High School. Sharon was a lifelong area resident. She retired from La -Z -Boy Midwest and Walmart. She enjoyed camping & fishing being with family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping whether at rummage sales or department stores. She was best known for her strawberry cake she provided to her son Claude on his birthdays.

Sharon was preceded in death by Marion Duncan father, Maxine Shields Mother, Greg Merriman Son , John Duncan Brother, Bonnie Duncan Sister, James Tucker Husband and Jerry Thompson husband.

Survivors include one son; Claude Merriman and wife Hiroko, Seneca, MO; Ruth (Steve) Barclay Sister, Linda Sharp Sister , Dianne Clayton Sister and Marjorie Duncan Stepmom all of Goodman Mo; grandchildren Dalan (Brittany), Dayton, Maya and Mina and one great-grandson Harlan

The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO. The family will hold a private celebration of life memorial service at a later date.
