Ruth Bennett

Ruth Anne Bennett, 79, formerly of Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest February 10, 2018 at Oak Pointe Nursing Home after an illness.  Ruth Anne Bennett was born March 27, 1938 in Rural Seneca, the daughter of Luther Oren Bennett and Dolly Ruth Gensike.  Ruth Anne was a 1957 graduate of Seneca High School. She was a 50 year member of The Order of Eastern Star and a member of the Seneca Church of Christ.  Ruth Anne never met a stranger and had unconditional love for everyone she met.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mary Elizabeth Fort and one brother William George Bennett.  Survivors include one brother, Ronal Bennett, Seneca; two sisters, Twyla Forslund, Neodesha, KS and Phyllis Gillespie, Carthage, MO and a host of nieces & nephews and many friends.  The family will receive friends Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services following at 2:00 pm with Jake King officiating.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Zack Forslund, Shawn Hines, Douglas Bennett, Cody Bennett, Mark Bennett and Michael Bennett.  Ruth Anne will be laid to rest at the Seneca Cemetery.
