Robin Cheek

Robin Sue (King) Cheek, 61, of Joplin, MO passed into eternal rest, on Friday, September 8th of 2023 at Mercy Hospital after a sudden illness.

Robin was born June 1,1962 in Enid, OK to Frank and June King. She lived in the southwest Missouri area for most of her life. Robin (King) Cheek married Lewis Cheek, November 3rd 1993 in Miami OK. She was preceded in death by both parents and 2 brothers, Robert King and Charles King

Survivors include her husband Lewis Cheek, daughter Nycolle (King) Sexton (Daniel), sister Tracey Mangus (David), brother Mike King (Janie), brother Randy Sunderland (Jana), sister Linda Whitaker, niece April King, sister in law Vickie Crider(wife of the late Robert King).

Robin was a force of nature. Her love for life was evident in her many pursuits, with a special place in heart for rodeo, OU football, and playing softball in her younger days. These were not just hobbies but an integral part of who she was.

While Robin's life had many hardships, we remember her in our own way. May she rest in peace and may we all find the healing and understanding that we need to move forward.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held Tuesday September 12, 2023 from 6-8pm at Campbell-Biddlecome funeral home in Seneca, MO.
