Richard Vineyard

Richard Keith Vinyard was born December 5, 1934 at Bernice, OK the son Gus and Nancy (Brackett).  Richard was raised in the area and had graduated from Afton High School. He worked for the former BF Goodrich plant in Miami, OK 35 years retiring at the time of its closing, and then went to work for Safeway Bakery for 8 years until retiring. Richard was a member of Seneca Church of Christ.   Richard is survived by his wife of 26 years, Janice; daughters, Teresa Pollock and husband Mike, Purcell, OK, Sherri Mailes and husband Kevin, Seneca, Julie Hixson and husband Kevin, El Dorado Springs, one son Johnny Brattin and wife Vonda, Carthage; two brothers, Roger Vinyard Kellyville, OK and Billy Gene Vinyard Dadeville, AL; two Beverly Hill, Fairland, OK and Treva Overacre, Broken Arrow, OK;  8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jackie and Mich and his son Brent.  Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the Seneca Church of Christ with Jake King officiating. Burial will be in the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery with Mike Pollok, Kevin Mailes, Kevin Hixson, Johnny Brattin, Tanner Hixson and Paul Steiner serving as pallbearers.  Memorial contributions can be made to Jones Mission Work in care of the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, PO Box 380 Seneca, MO 64865.
