Richard Curtis

Richard Lee Curtis, 77, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 10:40 PM, Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Landmark Hospital in Joplin after a long illness.  Richard Lee Curtis was born November 16, 1933 in Dodge City, KS the son of Leo G. and Lena Marie (Barett) Curtis. Richard was a retired Navy Veteran and a carpenter. Richard Lee Curtis married Phyllis Ann (Testerman) Curtis in Fairland, Oklahoma on November 5, 1955 and she survives.  Additional survivors include, three daughters, Shiela Addington, and Donna Doerr both of Neosho and Pam Brock, Newtonia; one brother Don Curtis, Diamond, MO. and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Richard Lee was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Lena Curtis and one sister JoAnn Williams.  The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.  A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the New Salem Cemetery on Norway Rd west of Neosho, MO.
