Rex Hunt

Rex O. Hunt, 63, Seneca, MO passed away April 16, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO after an illness.

Rex Owen Hunt was born August 8, 1959 in West Point, NY the son of Delbert W. and Lola Mae (Thompson) Hunt. Rex formerly lived in Oklahoma, Florida, Kansas, Nebraska, Mississippi, Missouri and Germany. He worked for the Iowa DOT as a inspector. He was a 1977 graduate of Eisenhower High School in Lawton, OK. He was a member of the FORR - Freedom of Road Riders Local 14 and the Missouri Abate. Rex enjoyed his freedom of the road and his motorcycle. He enjoyed his riding family, old westerns, war movies, camping and really good music.

Rex was preceded in death by his parents Delbert Wayne Hunt and Lola Mae Hunt.

Rex Owen Hunt married Sandy Brewer September 9, 2017 on Illinois River and she survives.

Additional survivors include one daughter Kelley Hunt and husband Josh Berry and two children Jensen Lee Berry and Jaxon Rex Berry; one brother, Jeff Hunt, Cheney, KS; one sister, Janet Holland, Webb City, MO; two step-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
