Obituary for Rachel Sherwood

Rachel N. Sherwood, 70, Wyandotte, OK, passed into eternal rest August 28, 2015 suddenly at her home in rural Wyandotte. Rachel N. Adams was born July 24, 1945 in Cannon City, Co the daughter of Jacob and Mable (Slane) Adams. Rachel retired from Laz-Y-Boy in Neosho, MO.  She also worked for the former Motorola plant and was currently working for Community Bank and Trust, Seneca.  Rachel was a member of the Church of God Holiness, Seneca.  Survivors include two sons; Virgil Sherwood and wife Tammy, Seneca and Earl Sherwood and wife Deanna, Fairland; the love of her life Marvin Sherwood, Seneca; 5 grandchildren, Krystal Hansen, Joshua Sherwood, Kristen Sherwood, Zack Kellogg and Trenton Kellogg; 6 great-grandchildren, Alexandrea Sherwood, Bailee Sherwood, Alexus Sherwood, Madison Hansen, Kaden Kellogg and Hailey Williams; siblings, Lee Adams, Seattle WA, Jake Adams, Malde Ann Weicht, Nettie Adams all of Wyandotte and Naomi Gooch, Tatum, New Mexico.  Rachel was preceded in death by her father and mother, three sisters;  Louise Sharp, Ruthie Stewart and Mary Deaton and two brothers, Paul Adams and Daniel Adams.  Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Seneca Assembly of God with Rev. Roy Scribner and Pastor Paul Handel officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Derald Clemons, Frank Weicht, Bradley Weicht, Virgil Sargent, Marvin Sherwood and Zack Kellogg serving as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Seneca, MO.
