Patricia Kuhn

Patricia (Patty) R. Kuhn, 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 29, 2022 at Freeman West Hospital after a prolonged illness.

Patricia Ruth Wehmeier was born on June 12,1942 in Clayton, New Mexico; the daughter of Walter A. and W. Elvena (Davis) Wehmeier. Patty was a lifelong area resident. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt & friend. After her own children were grown she worked as a caregiver for others. Patty loved kids and loved each & everyone as if they were her very own. She loved going to flea markets to find the perfect bargain. She had a great love of reading and was often found sitting in her recliner doing just that. Patty loved to cook and she will be famously remembered for her homemade chicken and noodles. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Seneca for 70 years. She loved God and serving him in any way needed. She had held positions as church clerk, children's Sunday School teacher, VBS teacher and prepared many meals for kids programs & dinners. She was a beautiful example of a Godly woman. She loved being with her family and friends.

Patrica R. Wehmeier married Thomas L. Kuhn on June 28, 1963 in Seneca, MO and he survives. Additional survivors include one son, Tony Kuhn; two daughters, Leslie Kuhn and Lisa Kuhn; siblings, Richard Davis and wife Cindi, Sarcoxie, Harry Davis and wife Linda, Seneca and Brenda Triplett and husband Dave, Seneca, sister-in-law Phyllis Davis, Seneca and a host of extended family, friends and church family.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Florence Jones and husband Ivan, Donald Davis and wife Carol and Leslie (Lad) Davis.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church with Ty Dawson and Fred Mills officiating. Burial will be in the Kirk Cemetery north of Seneca, MO with nephews Kevin Davis, Caleb Davis, Wayne Ritter, Lenny Kuhn, Zach Butterfield and Brock Dodson serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Barfknecht, Jared Barfknecht, Daniel Herr, Michael Herr, and Jonah Wilcox the young men she helped nurture from infants.
