Ora Thornbrugh

Ora Lee Thornbrugh, 88, Wyandotte, OK, passed into eternal rest at 6:00 PM, Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Eastwood Manner Nursing Home in Commerce after a long illness.   Ora Lee Thornbrugh was born August 11, 1923 in Bartlesville, OK the son of Albert and Lucy (Park) Thornbrugh. Lee was a Army Veteran serving in WWII. He worked for Frisco Railway for 22 years as a train car inspector. Ora Lee Thornbrugh married Mary Lou Dill June 12, 1948 in Commerce, OK and she preceded him in death March 24, 2002.   Survivors include one daughter; Dorothy Commons, Riverton, KS; 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.   Lee was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Lucy Thornbrugh, one brother; Delbert Thornbrugh; two sisters, Edna Gilmore and Sarah Bell Captain and one great-granddaughter Christine Schreiner.    Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Chapel with Larry Randolph officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery, Seneca, MO with Britt Commons, Curtis Commons, Brandon Commons, Nick Denton, Randy Rosiere and Jake Morgan serving as pallbearers.   The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM, Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the funeral home.
