In Loving Memory of Michael James Rimar
With heavy hearts, we mourn the untimely passing of Michael James Rimar,
affectionately known as Uncle Jamie, Rimey, James or simply Mike, at the age of 39. He
departed from this world unexpectedly, leaving a void that can never be filled. James
leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever
resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.

Born to proud parents Sheryl and Michael Rimar, James graced this world with his
presence and brought joy to all who crossed his path. He was a beloved son, a loyal
friend, and a great strength for those in his life.
James shared a special bond with his big sister, Sarinda, whom he loved deeply. Their
relationship was a source of comfort and support, a testament to the enduring power of
family.

James was adored by his nephews and nieces, Adrian, Alexa, Matthew, Luke, Molly
Fader and the newest love, Miah. He brought light and laughter into their lives, creating
cherished memories that will be forever treasured. Scrabble games without him will
never be the same, as his quick wit and playful spirit filled the room with joy and
camaraderie.

He was held in the highest regard by his godparents, Sandy Pace and James Rimar, the
latter of whom he was named in honor of. James is survived by numerous cousins,
including Emily, Kelly, Elizabeth, and Catherine.
A 2003 graduate of McAuley High School in Joplin, Missouri. He achieved the
prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, embodying the values of leadership, integrity, and
service to others. James possessed a deep love for the great outdoors, finding solace
and exhilaration in the art of hiking. His scouting adventures were marked by
remarkable expeditions, notably his ventures at Philmont, where he found inspiration
and forged enduring bonds amidst the wilderness.
James found fulfillment in his career at Outback Steakhouse, where he dedicated
countless years as a manager. His genuine love for food and his unwavering
commitment to serving others left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of
dining under his care. James also possessed an adept understanding of the artistry and
protocols inherent in the presentation of food.
A true aficionado of music, James had an unmatched passion for rock and roll. Whether
discussing legendary bands, attending concerts, or sharing his favorite tracks, his
enthusiasm was infectious, and his love for the rhythm and energy of rock music was
unmistakable.

In the tapestry of life, James' presence was a vibrant thread, weaving moments of joy
and warmth into the lives of those around him. His laughter was contagious, his smile
illuminated the darkest of days, and his kindness knew no bounds. All can attest to the
facts that he gave the very best HUGS.
While we mourn the loss of James from our earthly realm, we take solace in knowing
that his spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear. Please join us in celebrating his
remarkable life on May 26th, at the former Kitchen Pass located at  3618 Notting Hill Cir, Joplin, MO 64804.

We invite all those who loved and were touched by Mike to share
memories, music, love and light bites.

This page serves as a memorial in his honor, and we invite you to leave comments and
share pictures. Your presence and support are a blessing to the family.
