Mary Tinsley

Marylou Merriman Tinsley, 78, Neosho, MO, passed into eternal rest June, 5, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.   Marylou Neeley was born March 25, 1938 in Hanna, OK the daughter of Melvin and Amy Lillian (Smith) Neeley.  Mary worked as a LPN at the former Oak Hill Hospital in Joplin, the former St John’s Hospital in Joplin and St John’s Hospital in Springfield until retiring in 1995. Mary was a member of Bethany Baptist church.   Survivors include one son, John Paul Merriman and wife Judy, Neosho, MO; three daughters, Marietta Shinn and fiancée Jim Loughridge , Miami, OK and Sheila Clark and husband Gary, Smithfield, PA and Shannon Renee Stites and Fiancee Steve Green; one brother Willis Neeley, Grove, OK; one sister, Margie Terry, Seneca, MO; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.    Mary was preceded in death by her parents, one son Robert Merriman, two brothers, Coweta Neeley and Johnny Melvin Neeley.     Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, June 9, 2016 at Bethany Baptist Church east of Seneca, with Raymond Merriman and David Cox officiating.  Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery, West Seneca, OK, with Casey Merriman, Colby Merriman, Corey Merriman, John Russell, Aric Merriman and Aaron Merriman serving as pallbearers.    The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, June 8 ,2016 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.    Arrangements under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
