Marilyn Gerhardt

Marilyn Marie Gerhardt, 69, Miami, OK, passed away on March 10, 2023, in Tulsa, OK following a short Illness.

Marilyn Marie Garrison was born on February 16, 1954, in Fort Scott Kansas. She attended the Fort Scott Community College where she earned her degree in nursing while taking care of her horses in her time off. She worked at the Miami Baptist Hospital and several nursing companies as a traveling nurse for over 25 years. Marilyn and Jerald enjoyed prospecting in Arizona while collecting rocks and gems during their travels.

Marilyn Marie Garrison married Jerald Gerhardt in 1970. They were married for over 50 years before he preceded her in death in 2021. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters Rosa Buras and Lucy Taylor.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Gerhardt and wife Tarayza Gerhardt of Wyandotte; Shawn Gerhardt and wife Donna King of Wyandotte; and a host of family and friends.

The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

The family will plan a memorial tribute at a later date.
