Margaret Forbess

Margaret (GeGe) Ann Forbess, 74, Neosho, MO, passed into eternal rest at 7:09 am, June 14, 2015 at her daughters home after losing her battle with cancer.  Margaret Ann York was born July 19, 1940 in Urbana, Ill the daughter of James T. and Sarah Eleanor (Byers) York. Margaret, better known as GeGe by her family, formerly worked as a seamstress at Best Stop in Broomfield, CO.  She moved to the Neosho area seven years ago. She was a member of the New Testament Church, Neosho.  Margaret married Roger Allen Forbess December 18, 1985 in Longmont, CO and he preceded her in death January 19, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her father James and one brother Warren York.  Survivors include her mother, Sarah Eleanor Padgett, Champaign, Ill; four daughters, Debora Lee Fox, Roseville, CA, Theresa Kay Baker and husband Brian, Neosho, Barbara Ann Miller and husband Ted, Lincoln, CA and Cheri Lynn Hoskins and husband Shawn, Springfield, MO; one brother Gary Dale Warren, Sacramento, CA; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.   A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the New Testament Church in Neosho with Bro. Mike Rhoades officiating.  Services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.
