Lloyd Buening

Lloyd C. Buening, 89, Seneca. MO passed into eternal rest at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at his home in rural Seneca after a battle with cancer.   Lloyd C. Buening was born September 4, 1923 in Seneca, MO the son of Carl and Evelyn Buening.  Lloyd had lived in the Seneca Area all his life and was a Carpenter. Lloyd also owned and operated a cattle farm south of Seneca.  He was a member of the Seneca United Methodist Church.   Lloyd married Vivian Pauline Osborne July 19, 1970 in Miami, OK and she survives.   Additional survivors include two sons, Everett Renfro and Edward Renfro both of Seneca; one daughter Kathrine Farmer, Neosho, MO; One brother, Marvin Buening, Joplin; 8 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.   Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Evelyn Buening, his step mother Flora Buening, his first wife Kathline Buening, two sisters, Beulah E. Boyer and Vera Mae Beard.    Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Jim Wilson officiating.    The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.     Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, PO Box 380, Seneca, MO 64865.
