Obituary for
Lewis L. Sapp
Lewis L. Sapp, age 80, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011, at his home following a long battle with mesothelioma lung cancer. Lewis was born April 2, 1931 in Miami, OK, to Noel and Naomi Sapp. He graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1950. Lewis was a B.F. Goodrich retiree, having worked there for 34 years. He worked in the mines at Picher for a year before starting at B.F. Goodrich. He later worked as a truck driver with various companies, including Panter Brothers Trucking of Miami, OK. He married Dolores (Sue) Sapp on August 4, 1950 and she survives. Addition survivors include one daughter, Janice (Wood) Wawrzyniak and husband, Joseph, of Joplin, MO; one son Terry L. Sapp and wife Lani, of Baytown, TX; 2 sisters, Colleen Sharp, Miami, OK and Janna Beth McKinzie, Castle Rock, CO; and one brother, Jerry Sapp, Miami, OK; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Naomi Sapp and one sister, Carol Bouleware. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home in Seneca, MO from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the Eastside Assembly of God Church, 65101 E. 100 Rd., east of Miami, OK on highway 10. Burial will be in the Wyandotte Cemetery in Wyandotte, OK. Arrangements under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
