Lester Convirs

Lester N. Convirs, 88, Wyanodtte, OK passed into eternal rest Saturday, November 19, 2022 at his home in Wyandotte after an illness.

Lester Norman Convirs was born March 20, 1934 in Arkansas the son of Clarence and Ada (Bryant) Convirs. Lester was a lifelong area resident. He owned and operated a dairy farm most of his life. Lester drove school bus number 5 for Wyandotte Schools for over 20 years. He enjoyed driving his tractor, farming and watching Gun Smoke on the TV. Lester spent a lot of time hanging out at the Bunker with his brother Wayne and Nephew Dewayne. Lester formerly was a Youth Director and a Sunday School Superintendent. He was a faithful member of Set Free Ministries in Wyandotte, OK.

Lester N. Convirs married Martha (Bates) May 3, 1951 and they were married 62 years. She preceded him in death October 19, 2013. Lester was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Oscar Convirs.

Survivors include one son, Larry Convirs and wife Judy, Wyandotte, OK; one daughter, Stacy Eads and husband Dennis, Seneca; one brother, Wayne Convirs, Wyandotte, OK; grandchildren, Levi Convirs and Michelle, Chanie Frost and Jerrod, Tiernie Gayle and Rachel, Cindy Morris and Randy, Felicia Graves and Joe; 7 Great-Grandchildren and one Great-Grandchild; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Monday, November 21, 2022 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Set Free Ministries, Wyandotte, OK with Pastor Mark Buzzard officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Randy Morris, Jerrod Frost, Levi Convirs, Matthew Convirs, Dewayne Convirs and Johnny Johston serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wane Convirs, Luke Convirs, Peyton Convirs, Daniel Convirs, Camden Frost and Nekota Frost.

Funeral services are under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Seneca, MO.
