Lesa Jean Vandenburg, 60, Seneca, MO passed away June 15, 2020 at her son’s home in Miami, OK after a long illness.
Lesa Jean Edwards was born October 28, 1959 in Rogers AR the daughter of George “Bud” and Kathryn (Martin) Edwards. Lesa was a 1977 graduate of Bentonville High School. Lesa had lived in the Wyandotte and Seneca Area since 1998. She loved to travel, go to music concerts, Art, watching TV crime Show and Discovery. She especially loved cats and horses. Lesa was very creative, artistic and a extremely hard worker. She was one of the first 100 employees hired by Downstream Casino & Resort and worked there until her health made her unable to work. She loved working at Downstream and her co-workers.
Survivors include her parents; George “Bud” and Kathryn Edwards, Wyandotte; her sons, Cole Vittetoe, St Paul, MN, Dylan Vittetoe, Lee Summit, MO, Shane Vandenburg, Neosho, MO and Jonathan Vandenburg, Miami, OK; one brother John Edwards, Diamond, MO; three grandchildren; Elliot and Autumn Vittetoe and Cameron Vandenburg and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, June 17, 2020 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Sycamore Chapel United Methodist Church in Wyandotte, OK with Rev. Jon Bates officiating. Burial will be in the Diamond Cemetery with Cole Vittetoe, Dylan Vittetoe, Shane Vandenburg, Jonathan Vandenburg, John Edwards and Scott Edwards serving as pallbearers.
