Laverne Horton

Laverne Rose Horton, 80, Seneca, MO passed away Jan. 29, 2018 at her home in rural Seneca.   Laverne Rose Horton was born January 20, 1938 in Rialto, CA, the daughter of Clyde and Esther Hill. She was worked as a Display Artist for a department store. Laverne designed the widow display and was well known for her work.  Laverne was of the Christian faith.   Survivors include her children, Robert D. Horton, Joplin, MO, Stan C. Horton, Travevof City, MI and Paul R.  Horton, Joplin, MO; one sister, Jeanne Humphrey, Glen Eden Beach, OR and two grandchildren.    The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.  Private family services will be held at a later date.
