Obituary for L. Madeline Gilman

L. Madeline (Caywood) Gilman, 98, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest at 2:30 am, June 25, 2015 at Spring River Christian Village. L. Madeline Caywood was born May 27, 1917 in Christopher Community near Neosho, MO. the daughter of Elihah Ernest and Delemma Jane (Wood) Caywood.  She was united in marriage to Charles Ashley Gilman on November 25, 1937 and he preceded her in death May 24, 2003. They owned and operated the Gilman Able Dairy Farm until their retirement. She was a member of the Warren's Branch Baptist Church.  Madeline was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Leroy and Leon Caywood.  She is survived by her son, Charles Ronald Gilman Sr. of Willis, TX and daughter, Jane Ann Able (Bob) of Wyandotte, OK; five grandchildren, Johnnie Ann & (Jarrod) Walker, Montgomery, TX, Charles "Chuck" Ronald Jr. Gilman & (Jamie), College Station, TX, Julie Ann Bridges & (Kelly), Elgin, Ok, Jeffery Lee Able & (Buffy), Edmond, OK, Jody Ann Sallaska & (Dane) Stillwater, OK and ten great-grandchildren.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, June 29, 2015 at Warren's Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Bradley officiating. Burial will be in the Burkhart Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 pm Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca. Memorial contributions can be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital in care of the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, PO Box 380 Seneca, MO 64865.
