Kristina was a daughter, sister, aunt, and devoted friend. She loved to travel to new places and meet new people. She was an avid animal lover who put her all into the safety and love of those that could not defend themselves. She was an advocate of everyone being treated as they should. She was also an avid reader who enjoyed young adult books, one of her favorite writers is Tamora Pierce, whom she has been a close friend and spoken with almost every day for over a decade.
Kristina was a very happy person who faced many health issues which she fought each and every one with a strength that all of her friends saw each and every day. She overcame so much and was an example to so many that met her.
Kristina's life changed a lot in 2016 when she was limited to her bed, and in that same Kristina fashion she fought the fight and went from bed confinement to walking with a walker. Since that time, she had been mostly at home due to her condition. She spent that time happily taking care of her 8 puppies whom she loved with all her heart, and reading book after book. She may have not been able to travel like she used to be she stayed busy at home taking care of her puppies and speaking daily with her friends across the United States, England, Russia and across the world.
Kristina is survived by her step-father Kenneth Cantrell, her father Bil, her mother Amanda, her sister Katherine, her sister Emily Cantrell. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Ann Thomas, her grandfather Mike Thomas and her sister Briana Cantrell.
