Kent Merchant

Kent I. Merchant, 82, Seneca, MO, passed away November 26, 2017 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness.   Kent Irwin Merchant was born November 2, 1935 in Independence, KS the son of Earl and Maybelle Merchant.  Kent served his county in the Army during the Korean War.  Kent moved to Seneca in 1984. He was a Ham Radio operator and had retired from Milnot in Seneca, MO in 2002.  Survivors include his wife Ruth Merchant, Seneca; children Jerry and Vicki; step-children, Marvin, Mark, Todd and Scott; one brother Charles and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   The family will hold a Memorial Visitation at the home of Ruth Merchant, 3898 Quince Rd, Seneca, MO, from 3 to 4 pm.   The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.
