Karen J. Williams, 63, Galena, KS, passed into eternal rest August 28, 2022 at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK after a sudden illness.
Karen Jeannine O'Neal was born February 13, 1959 in Aurora, MO the daughter of Wayne and Shirley (Parks) O'Neal. Karen had lived in the four-state area most all of her life. She formerly worked for Walmart and Sam's Club in Bentonville, AR , Miami, OK and Joplin, MO. Karen later became a phlebotomist for Freeman Health System. She never knew a stranger and always had a smile on her face. She did not complain but always kept a positive attitude. She always had a story about her kids and grandkids which she so enjoyed spending time with. She loved to plant flowers and especially loved daisies. Karen was a big Kansas City Chiefs fan. Karen was a member of The O'Neal Sisters Gospel Quartet. She was of the Baptist faith.
Karen married Kevin Williams August 12, 2011 in Eureka Springs, AR and he survives.
Additional survivors include her sons, Brandon Shockley and wife Becky Shockley, Keith Shockley and wife Jennifer, Matthew Shockley and wife Sarah Jo; step-daughter, Alison Williams and husband Josh, step-son, Luke Williams; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Gayle O'Neal, Michelle Priddle and husband Kevin, Misty Jackson and husband Jeff; one uncle, Fred Parks; one aunt Betty Oakley; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Shirley O'Neal; one sister Sherry Stoner.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, September 1, 2022 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, September 2, 2022 at the Warrens Branch Baptist Church with Bro. Brad Jinks officiating. Burial will be in the Hornet Cemetery with Devon Stoner, Wayne Kmick, Aaron Kmick, Atticus Jackson, Jacob Irvin and Jared Walker serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation. Tribute donations can be made online at pdkcure.org.
