J. Gayle Morris, 63, Seneca, MO, passed away June 28, 2023 at KU Medical Center after an illness.

Julynda Gayle Blaylock was born September 25, 1959 in Poteau, OK the daughter of Robert (Bob) and Jo Ann (Rhinehart) Blaylock. Gayle was an outgoing person who loved sports, NAS Car racing, cooking and baking and she never missed a Seneca Football Game. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and was always on the go. Gayle was a truck driver for Covant Transportation and Above Par Transportation. She drove a School Bus for the Seneca R7 School district for over 10 years.

Gayle married Michael Morris February 18, 2000 in Boone County, KY, and he survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Rachael Barbarick, Joplin and Julynda Flora, Seneca; One brother, Wayne Blaylock and wife Tammy, Seneca; One sister, Donna Brite and husband Bob, Seneca; 8 grandchildren, Skylar Dodson, Elijah Dodson, Ezekiel Dodson, Zoei Dodson, Landon Dodson, Paris Romero, Emmy Wood and Averi Wood; one great-grandchild Jordan Romero and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will be holding a Celebration Of Life Memorial Service at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Faith Assembly of God with Pastor Gray Rhodes officiating.

The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
