Judy Howell

Judy Jean Howell, 78, Grove, OK, passed into eternal rest April 10, 2025 at her home after an illness.

Judy Jean Metheny was born December 19, 1946 in Wellington, KS the daughter of Victor and Betty (McFarland) Metheny. She was raised in Wellington, KS and graduated from Wellington High School. She loved horses, riding them, grooming them and just taking care of them. Judy loved to travel and see new place. She loved to shop and spend time with her family. Judy was a member of New Life Fellowship in Neosho, MO.

Judy Jean Metheny married Darrel Duane Howell, October 16, 1965 in San Diego, CA and he preceded her in death January 4, 2025.

Additional survivors include one son; Mark Howell and wife Leslie, Shelbyville, TX; two daughters; Christine Builta and husband Gary, Grove, OK and Jenny Wilson, Grove, OK; Grandchildren; Kimberly Carlson, Amodi Carlson, Bailey Wilson, Christian Wilson, Clinton Howell, Sheryl Howell and four great-grandchildren; Siblings, Vicki Scott, Doug Metheny.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 6:00pm, April 17th at New Life Fellowship in Neosho, MO with Mark and Bonnie Buzzard officiating.

The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
