On April 23, 2023, our precious mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandma, great-grandma, aunt, and great-aunt went to be with our Lord Jesus.
Judy Kay Baker was born June 14, 1943, in Alliance, Nebraska the daughter of Dwight and Viola Cole. She graduated from Osseo High School in Osseo, Minnesota in 1960. Judy was a beloved schoolteacher at the Racine Apostolic Christian School, the Apostolic Christian Academy, and Apostolic Lighthouse School for over 50 years. She also worked at the Seneca Home Place for over 20 years letting her light shine as she cared for God's children.
Judy Kay Mabin married Jack Baker on October 16, 1979, in Miami, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death. Judy was also preceded in death by her parents Dwight and Viola Cole of Seneca Missouri; brother Jackie Mabin of Alliance Nebraska; and her baby daughter Lynette Sampson of Seneca Missouri.
Survivors include 3 sons, Clifton Sampson and wife Christy, Reeds Springs, MO.; David Sampson, Seneca, MO.; Jack Baker, Seneca, MO.; 2 daughters, Kimberly McClenahan and husband Mike, New Castle, PA.; Jenny Brister and husband Samuel, Miami, OK.; 4 stepsons, Greg Leake and wife Jo, Stella, Mo.; Jerry Baker and wife Flordelza, Neosho, MO.; Tim Baker and wife Sherri, Anderson, MO.; Michael Baker, MO.; brother, Ed Mabin and wife Marge of Osseo MN.; 2 sisters, Barbara Wall, Seneca, MO.; Daphne Sampson, Las Vegas, NV.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
We will treasure every memory, to know her was to love her.
Visitation Services will be held at 1:00 pm in conjunction with the Funeral services being held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Lighthouse Apostolic Church with Rev. Kelly Sampson officiating.
