Joy Ann Hobbs, 73, Seneca, MO passed away November 2, 2020 at her home in Seneca after a long illness.

Joy Ann Johnston was born August 8, 1947 in Oakland, CA the daughter of John and Zola (Joy) Johnston. Joy graduated from Harrells High School in California in 1965. Joy Ann married Bobby Max Hobbs June 5, 1971 in Elsobrante CA, and they moved to this area in 1972. They farmed and from 1987 to 1993 Joy was a Real-estate Broker. She was a past President of a Real-Estate Board. In 1993 Joy begin to work for the Neosho Post Office where she was a Postal Carrier until 2003. Joy loved to make crafts, stirring up things and trying to think of a new prank to pull on someone. She loved to laugh and have a good time with those around her.

Survivors one daughter Danielle Hobbs one son-in-law Tony Flory Seneca; grandchildren, Bobby and Chelsey; great grandchildren, Emma and Carl; Siblings, Michael Berriz, John Joshston and Lisa Dunn all of California and a host of friends.

Joy was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Max Hobbs, her parents John and Zola Johnston, granddaughter, Alexandria Flory, brothers-in-law’s, Bub Hobbs, Don Hobbs, and Doyel Hobbs.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

Graveside services will be held at 2:15pm, Friday, November 6, 2020 at the Seneca Cemetery.
