Johnny Griner

Johnny J. Griner, 59, Wyandotte, OK passed away April 3, 2025 at the KU Medical Center after an illness.

Johnny Joe Griner was born March 5, 1966 in Seneca, MO the son of Frank and Maryetta (Begley) Griner. He was a USDA Food inspector and had lived in the area most of his life. Johnny loved cooking, crafts, gardening, video games, bird watching, shopping and watching movies.

Surviors include his wife Sharon (Kerr) Griner, Wyandotte, OK; children, Maria Avina and husband Jesse, Seneca, MO, Johnathon Griner and wife Janis Russell, Wyandotte, OK and Cherish Griner and husband Dakota Edwards-Fanning, Grove, OK; siblings, Franklin Griner, Wyandotte, OK, Larry Griner, Commerce, OK and Cathy Brundige and husband Jacob, Commerce, OK; three grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Frank Griner; 2 grandchildren Tamriel and Faewynn Avina

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7pm, Tuesday, April 8th at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, April 9th at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home with Rick Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Wyandotte Cemetery with Johnathon Griner, Jesse Avina, Dakota Edwards-Fanning, Larry Griner, Franklin Griner, and John Lasley serving as pallbearers.
