John Connelly

John R. Connelly, 93, Wyandotte, OK, passed away May 24, 2024 at his home in West Seneca, OK.

John Raymond Connelly was born June 18, 1930 in Joplin, MO the son of John H. Conley and Leta Weatherly-Spencer. John was raised by his aunt and uncle Ed and Anna Mallory after his mothers passing in 1936.

John was a life time area resident. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. John loved working outside on his cattle farm and attending to his animals. He loved to tinker with equipment and vehicles. One of his passions was driving his tractor. He loved to spend time with his dog Jammer. John formerly owned and operated J.C. Mobile Tire Service. A business he started at age 70.

John was preceded in death by one son, Greg Connelly.

Survivors include his children; Leta Chandler and husband Dusty, Seneca, MO; John L. Connelly, Seneca, MO, Jo Anne Connelly, Seneca, MO, Danny Connelly, Tingley, IA and Tina Connelly, Seneca, MO; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Compassus Hospice and Isabel Connelly for taking care of John during the last days of his life.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO

Graveside services will be held at 10am, Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Seneca Cemetery.
