J.L. Henry

J.L. Henry, 93, formerly of Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest at 9:40 am, December 30, 2014 at Maranatha Village in Springfield, MO after an illness.  J. L. Henry was born June 13, 1921 in Foster, OK the son of Frank and Dixie (Lancaster) Henry. J. L. "Jay" formerly worked as a insurance agent for Oklahoma Farm Bureau and the former Charles Whitehead Insurance Agency in Seneca, MO. Jay was a WWII Army veteran and a member of the Seneca Assembly of God Church.  J. L. was preceded in death by his first wife Beatrice and by his second wife Anna Henry. He also was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Dixie Henry and two brothers James Henry and Jorgell Henry.  Survivors include children; Clara Smith, Broken Arrow, Deloris Kealiher and husband Mike, Wagoner, OK, Jorgell Henry, Hulburt, OK and Joy Shockely, Springfield, MO; one sister Bert McCumber and husband Don, Hinton, OK; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.   The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm, Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca. Funeral services will follow the visitation starting a 3 pm.  Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery.
