Jeanne Kelley

Jeanne Ann (McMurry) Kelley, 75 of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, passed away on August 19, 2023, at her home in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. 

Jeanne was born June 22, 1948, in Mason County, WA. the daughter of John McMurry and Betty (Morehouse) McMurry. Jeanne volunteered for the Joplin Salvation Army for many years and volunteered at the Wyandotte Food Pantry and many other organizations that helped those in need. She attended the Fairland Christian Church.

She had a great passion for helping her community, friends, and fellow neighbors in every way possible. She worked diligently at making a loving home with her husband and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed working with ceramics, and scrapbooking and maintained a beautiful collection of Barbie dolls with handmade dresses and outfits. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends on a regular basis where she was known as Jeanne "K".  

Manuel and Jeanne started their life together on February 11, 1967, in Fairview, Oregon and he survives. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Betty McMurry and her sister Wanda McMurry.

Survivors include son Wesley Kelley and wife Stephanie of Tomball TX.; brother Mike McMurry of Yacolt, WA.; 3 sisters Janet Hall of Beaverton, OR.; Joy Lindstedt of Boring, OR; Melody McMurry of Portland, OR; grandson Dak Kelley; granddaughter Courtney Kelley; and great-grandson Miles Coronado.

Jeanne was a selfless individual who spent her life caring for the needs of others and her family every day. 

A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.

The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
