James Linebarger

James Linebarger, age 97, Seneca, MO, passed away on May 13, 2018 at Freeman West Hospital after a long illness.  James was born in Stanton, TX to Zed and Cora (Watson) Linebarger. James married Countiss Catherine (Tylor) Linebarger of April 11, 1942 and she preceded him death November 12, 2013.  James and Countiss (Dorothy) moved from California to the Seneca Area in October of 1998.James was a WWII Army veteran and worked as an electrician for Bechtel Corporation. He was a member of the Seneca Church of Christ. James loved watching football. He was the patriarch of the family and loved to take care of them.  Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Seneca Church of Christ with Jake King and John King officiating. Burial will be in the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery south of Seneca with David Fox, Paul Yuen, P. J. Yuen, Chris Beck, David Whalen, and John King serving as pallbearers.
