Gladys Sparlin

Gladys P. Sparlin, 97, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest at 12:42 pm, June 4, 2016 at her home in Seneca surrounded by her family.   Gladys Pearl Stout was born April 16, 1919 in Carterville, MO the daughter of John and Dolly (Bennett) Stout.  Gladys was a homemaker a former member of the DAV Auxiliary. She formerly attended the First Baptist Church in Seneca.   Gladys P. Stout married Virgil L. Rosiere and he preceded her in death in 1967. Gladys then married James Eugene Sparlin and he preceded her in death in 1988.   Survivors include two sons, Larry Rosiere, Seneca, MO and Jack Rosiere and wife Becky, Cleburne, TX; a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.   Gladys was preceded in death by three brothers, Bud Stout, Bill Stout and Art Stout and three sisters, Marie Scott, Goldie Stout and Georgia McKibbin.   Graveside services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM at the Sparlin-Gallemore Cemetery with P.J. Hutchinson officiating.   The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, June 6, 2016 at the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the DAV in care of the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.
