Gary (Doc) Green passed into eternal rest March 26, 2024 at Communities Of Wildwood.
Gary (Doc) Duemler Green was born February 7, 1936 in Seneca, MO the son of Arlie and Marjorie Green. He was a graduate of Seneca High School. Doc worked at a 7-11 store in Texas, hauled milk for the former Milnot Company, ran the Seneca Express and worked for American National Insurance. He was the owner of Mr. B’s in Seneca where he had his own secret recipe for pizza sauce and dough. Doc also owned Greens Car Lot in Joplin and he drove a school bus for Gale Webb Transportation for the Seneca R7 School District. Gary loved his family and was a devoted Christian man. His spiritual life was the most important thing to him.
Gary D. Green married Jewell (Marie) Cobble May 29, 1954 in Pendleton, OR and she survives.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Denise Middick and husband Ken; one son Mike Green and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Seth Green, Elijah Green, Noah Green, Stephen Middick, Tiffany Blair and Brandon Middick; 7 great-grandchildren; Siblings, Frank Green and wife Yvonne, Sherry Owens, Sue Owens and husband Roger and Ronda Delaney.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Arlie and Marjorie Green, one son Kenneth Scott Green; one sister Glenda Schmidt and one brother Larry Jo Green.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Communities of Wildwood and Three Rivers Hospice for the great care they provided for Gary in the last 15 months. Gary will be missed by many, but there is comfort and peace knowing he lived his life for God with the hope of eternal salvation. Per Gary’s request there will be no visitation or funeral services.
