Galen Elbert

   Galen E. Elbert, 74, Grove, OK passed away February 6, 2024 at Concordia Health And Rehab in Bella Vista, AR after an illness.
   Galen E. Elbert was born March 12, 1949 in Joplin, MO the son of David and Imogene (Testerman) Elbert. He was a graduate of Wyandotte High School 1967. He served his country in the US Army from 1971-1973. Galen worked various jobs in the Joplin area and Springfield area most of his life and then moved back to Seneca. In 2017 he moved to Grove, Ok. Galen was a avid fisherman and a car enthusiast. He was of the Catholic faith.
  Galen was preceded in death by his parents, David and Imogene Elbert; one brother, Carl Elbert, brother-in-law's Don Powell and John McBride, one niece Lori Miller; one nephew Michael Miller.
   Survivors include his siblings, Barbara Testerman, Jefferson City, MO, Don Elbert, Wyandotte, OK, Kathy Powell, Springfield, MO, Mary Jane McBride, Bixby, OK, Paul Elbert and wife Michelle, Broken Arrow, OK and Janice Elbert, Denver, CO and host of nieces nephews and extended family.
   The family would like to thank the staff of Integris Health Gove Hospital, Mercy Hospital of Joplin, Concordia Health And Rehab and Circle Of Life Hospice.
   The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held March 23, 2024 at 11:00am at the St. Mary's Cemetery Seneca Missouri.
