Freddie Comfort

Freddie G. Comfort, 77, formerly of Seneca, Mo, passed into eternal rest June 16, 2016 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS after an illness.   Freddie Gene Comfort was born September 22, 1938 in Vinita, OK.  He owned and operated F.G. Comfort Asphalt Sealing Company in Seneca until 2013. Freddie was a member of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma and was a 32nd Degree Mason.  Freddie served his country in the United States Air Force.   Survivors include children; Freddie Comfort II, New Braunfels, TX, Lillie Comfort, El Dorado, KS, Scott Gilbert, El Dorado, KS, George Holland, Wichita, KS Liz Fieock, Wichita, KS and Becky Bishop, Wichita, KS; 15 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.   Freddie was preceded in death by 11 siblings.   Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Chapel. Private burial will be in the Timpson’s Chapel Cemetery, Vinita, OK.
