Frank Goswick
Frank M. Goswick, 86, Joplin, MO, Passed into eternal rest, February 1, 2011 at Galena Nursing Center after a long illness. Frank Marion Goswick was born August 15, 1924 in Joplin, MO, the son of Marion and Stella (Randolph) Goswick. Frank was a WWII Navy Air Corp Veteran serving his country from 1943-1946. He was a life time member of VFW Post 534, Joplin, MO. Frank had worked most of his life in the family business Goswick Lime and Fertilizer and a operated a farm where he raised cattle. He attended Belleville Community Church. Frank M. Goswick married Margorie Moore November 10, 1946 in Galena, KS and she preceded him in death December 4, 1991. Frank then married Katherine Marie (Walker-Fenix), June 19, 1993 in Miami, OK and she survives. Additional survivors include two brothers; Charles Goswick, Wheaton, MO and Tom Goswick, Racine, MO; one sister, Bonnie Crawford, Kansas City, MO; one step-son, Butch Fenix and wife Brenda, Joplin, MO; two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members. Frank was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve Goswick and LeRoy Goswick and one sister, Dolly Brixey. Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Chapel with Rev. Billy Joe Gentry and Rev Ronald Day officiating. Burial will be in the Burkhart Cemetery.
