Obituary for
Floyd E. Sreaves
Floyd Edgar Sreaves went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. He was born September 5, 1930 to Daniel A. and Nancy Jane (Sis) (Roark) Sreaves and has lived south of Seneca his entire life. He is survived by his wife Carolyn (Lankford) Sreaves of the home. Also surviving is his son Steve Sreaves and wife Connie, Waynoka, OK and daughters, Connie Fisher and husband Montie, Grove, OK, Sharon Boyer and husband John, Roxanne Wren and husband JR, Dana Vangunda and husband Manford all of Seneca, Carisa and Rick Booyer, Rocky Comfort, Melanie and Brian Feagans, Carthage and Justin Boyer, Neosho, 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ned & Dean; four sisters, Florine Macy, Christine Dobbs, Mary Ruth Marble and Betty Lou Macy and a young daughter Debra Lynn. Floyd hauled milk for 10 years and worked for Rocketdyne and Teledyne for 34 years retiring in 1990. He owned and operated Black Gold Cattle farms and custom baled hay for many years. After retiring he drove a gas truck for Brown Propane Co and drove a school bus for Morehead Transportation. Floyd was a member of the Swars Prairie Baptist Church and a 32nd Degree Mason of the Blue Lodge 621 in Anderson. He was a Past Master Mason and received his 50 year pin. Floyd loved God, people, horses, dogs and his much loved mule Pete. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Friday at the Swars Prairie Baptist Church. Funeral Services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday at the Swars Prairie Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Case officiating. Burial will be in the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery with Rob Lewis, Jeremy Keeler, James Wren, Greg Vangunda, Kaleb Vangunda and Chris Lewis serving as pallbearers.
