Fern Friend

M. Fern Friend, 80, Wyandotte, OK, passed into eternal rest at 4:09 AM, October 23, 2017 at her home in Rural Wyandotte.    M. Fern Friend was born September 15, 1937 in Grove, OK, the daughter of Claude and Ruth (Russell) Price. Fern had lived in the Area most of her life.  She formerly worked at Eagle Pitcher Industries, Glenn Berry Garment Factory and owned and operated a dairy farm with her husband.  Fern was a member of Miller Flats Assembly of God Church in Wyandotte.    M. Fern Price married Loren C. Friend November 18, 1953 in Pineville, MO and he preceded her in death October 21, 2009. Fern was also preceded in death by one daughter Kathy Snider and one infant son.     Survivors include two granddaughters; Ashley Crawford and husband Jim, Wyandotte and Kristen Snider, Soper, OK; one sister, Sue Santos, Lumus, CA and her son-in-law Steve Snider and a host of friends.   The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.   Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Miller Flats Assembly of God Church. Wyandotte, OK, with Rev. Don Staggs officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Leonard Walthall, Jim Crawford, Steve Snider, Gary Staggs, Bob Hampton and Stanley Staggs serving as pallbearers.
