Elnora Leader Wyrick, 93 of Wyandotte, OK passed into eternal rest on November 4th at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO.
Elnora was born August 20th, 1928, in Ottawa County, the daughter of Claude and Pearl (Hesseltine) Leader. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1946, and then married Elmer Wyrick April 7th, 1948. She lived in the Wyandotte area all her life. She had previously worked for the Ottawa County Election Board and the Wyandotte Nation. Elnora loved crocheting, reading her Bible, playing games and most importantly, winning them. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson’s and great grandchildren.
Elnora was preceded in her death, by husband Elmer Wyrick, her parents Claude and Pearl Leader, brother Clifford Leader, and sisters Vera Fay Brooks and Claudia Kay Graves. Survivors include son Gary and his wife Terri Wyrick, daughter Sharon and her husband Sonny Bartley, all of Wyandotte, OK, and foster son Steve Lewis of Tulsa, OK. A brother D.J. Leader and numerous nieces and nephews. Four Grandsons, Chad and wife Sharon Bartley, Brandon and wife Jana Bartley, Tyler and wife Kayla Wyrick, Trey and wife Brittni Wyrick, all of Wyandotte, OK. Eleven great-grandchildren, Ally, Brylen, Alivia, Adilynn, and Emrie Bartley, Kastyn, Kaynon, Kingstyn, Hadley, Henry, and Hazely Wyrick.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Monday, November 8, 2021 at the East Side Assembly of God, Wyandotte, OK with Pastor Larkin Enlow officiating. Burial will be in the Wyandotte Cemetery with Chad Bartley, Brandon Bartley, Tyler Wyrick, Trey Wyrick, Arno Graves Sr. and Clifford Miller serving as pallbearers.
