Edward N. Rogers
Edward N. Rogers, 92, Seneca, MO, passed away at 11:45 PM, Jan. 11, 2014 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin after an illness. Edward N. Rogers was born October 28, 1921 in Anderson, MO the son of Arthur and Venita (Stiilions) Rogers. Ed worked for the form Vickers Plant in Joplin and was Army Air Corps Veteran. Ed was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Blue Lodge #247 in Neosho, MO. Edward married Maebelle Edwards and she preceded him in death. Also preceded him in death was his parents, one infant son Arthur Lee Rogers, two sisters, Eve Wylie and Helen Laughlin and three brothers, Roy Rogers, Bob Rogers and Carroll "Tod" Rogers. Survivors include one son Kenny Rogers and wife Linda, Seneca, MO; one brother, Jim Rogers, Seneca; one sister Maxine Scott, Seneca; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Seneca Cemetery. The casket will remain closed at all times.
