Edward G. Mersman, 74, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest, January 27, 2024 at the Seneca House Nursing Home after an illness.
  Edward Garold Mersman was born June 14, 1949 in Neosho, MO the son of Edward and Clorina Mersman. Edward was a lifelong area resident. He formerly worked for the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma at the former Bordertown Casino. Ed loved to tinker with things and collected many things. He loved being outdoors, fishing and spending time with family. Ed was a member of the Hope Community Church, Hart, MO.
  Edward G. Mersman married Deanna Stovall October 24, 1972 and she preceded him in death July 25, 2021. Also preceding him in death was his mother and father Clorina and Edward Mersman; one sister Terry Testerman and one brother Randall Mersman.
  Survivors include his children; David Scott and wife Misty, Grove, Edward Mersman and Angela Mersman both of Seneca; Siblings, Shirley Macy, Stan Mersman both of Seneca, Sharon Mathre, Webb City and Lois Cameron, Diamond, MO; 2 grandchildren, David Scott Jr and Shae Scott; 3 great-grandchildren Kaiden Scott, Dalton Scott and Cameron Golden.
  The family will receive friends from 6 to 7pm, Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO. Following the visitation the body will be taken for cremation.
  A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Hope Community Church in Hart, MO, with Mike Roark officiating.
